Responsibilities:
Underwrites mortgage loan applications and evaluates loans to adhere to investor guidelines/FHA. Accurately analyze new loans and review conditions received based upon the criteria required for the submitted product type while meeting established productivity and turn around time goals.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years related DE government underwriting experience and/or training
• 2-5 years recent FHA/VA experience required. Active CHUMS# required
• Manual underwriting experience required
• Demonstrated commitment to closing loans
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Additional qualifications include: strong customer service skills; extensive knowledge of mortgage products; strong verbal and exceptional written communication skills; highly self-motivated as well as ability to work well in a team environment; and excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
